Every successful group is backed by a hard-working band of leaders, and Troupe 615 has just that! Our newest officers are ready to make the 2013-2014 year the best yet! So, let's get to know the officers for the new school year!
President: Maddie McKelvey
Maddie is a senior this year and the noble leader of the officers. She has been doing theatre for about 10 years, but also keeps herself busy with show choir, Meistersingers, orchestra, symphony, marching band, and concert band. (One might say she's kind of a music kid. :P ). She is attending a Sounds of America European vocal music tour this summer to show those foreigners what O-Town is made of! She plans on going to Iowa State for college in hopes of becoming the first opera singing Chemical Engineer.
Vice President: Leilah Armstrong
Leilah is a senior this year and has been involved in drama since her freshman year. She loves acting just as much as she loves the behind the scenes work and is a genius in the props department. In the spare time that she manages to find, she is involved in marching band, concert band, and symphony. She loves travelling and has even been to Austrailia. She is planning to attend Iowa State to become a Civil Engineer.
Secretary: Jordan "Jo" Young
Jo is a junior this year and the "baby" of the officer crew. She's been involved in theatre since she was 6 and has been in a total of 38 plays. She also participates in Large Group/ Individual Speech, show choir, Meistersingers, and SATF. She is notorious for being the imp of the drama kids and can be seen at pretty much every drama event. Her future plans are to go to college and become an English/Drama/Speech teacher.
Treasurer: Talitha Ford
Talitha is a junior (although commonly mistaken for a senior or adult) this year and is involved in orchestra, Meistersingers, show choir, and symphony. She has been doing theatre for 8 years now and has worked in pretty much all aspects such as acting, tech, and publicity. After high school, she plans to attend medical school at the University of Iowa.
Clerk Historian: Andrew Milder
Andrew is a senior and the only guy in office this year. He has been doing theatre for 5 years including shows with OCCP, OCP, Evans Middle School, and OHS. Although you'll mostly see him on stage, Andrew has also helped with props and other various backstage work. He is also involved in show choir, Meistersingers, and cross country with the high school. In college, he plans to either major in history or theatre. (Or both!)
